The Varsity Cheerleaders of Westside Christian High School are a dedicated group of phenomenal Christian young women in grades 9-12 who represent their school at all varsity home and away basketball games. Not only do these girls encourage the Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball players at the games, they also do many things to show them that their hard work is appreciated. They also make it enjoyable for the fans who attend the games. Through Cheerleading, these young Christian women learn about time management, working together as a team, supporting their peers in their endeavors, and working with the community. The Westside Cheerleaders host a youth cheer clinic every fall and invite young girls to come learn and experience what it is like to be a cheerleader. Tryouts for these positions traditionally take place in the spring of each school year.
