Mrs. Cook received her undergraduate degree in Bible from L.I.F.E. Pacific College and a Master's and Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from George Fox University. Her educational pursuits also include extensive study of Spanish both here and in Spain.

Denise Rose
French, Leadership, & Dean of Students
Mrs. Rose graduated from Oregon State with a degree in Foreign Language and History with a certificate in education. She has been at Westside for over 20 years. In addition to teaching French, Mrs. Rose teaches the Leadership class and shares Dean of Students role with Mr. Pringle.

Karla Swartzmiller
Spanish
Mrs. Swartzmiller attended the University of the Pacific in California as a bilingual education major. During her senior year she spent a semester in Mexico City student teaching. She has a B.A. in Bilingual/Cross Cultural Studies and a M.A. from the School of Education at University of Portland. Karla has nine years of experience teaching language courses and is a fluent Spanish speaker.
