2010 Westside Christian Golfers Take Sixth in State
The 2010 Westside Christian varsity golf team had a very successful season. The team played in a number of quality tournaments and participated in matches at some great golf courses, including Pumpkin Ridge, Bandon Dunes, The Reserve, OGA Golf Course, and Emerald Valley. The boys played well and took first place in eight of their matches. The 2010 team, led by David Ball and Mark Stockamp, won their sixth consecutive District Championship at the OGA Golf Course on May 10-11. The Eagles then travelled to Emerald Valley in Eugene on May 17-18 to participate in their seventh consecutive State Tournement, where they finished in sixth place.
