The WCHS School Library exists to support the education and development of students as servant leaders in God's kingdom by ensuring students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.

The WCHS School Library curriculum is shaped by AASL Standards for the 21st-Century Learner which offer a vision and guidelines for our program.
Westside students will use the Library resources to:
1. "Inquire, think critically, and gain knowledge.
2. Draw conclusions, make informed decisions, apply knowledge to new situations, and create new knowledge.
3. Share knowledge and participate ethically and propductively as members of our democratic society.
4. Pursue personal and aesthetic growth."
