Mr. Allcroft spent 24 years as a mechanical engineer for Chevron Corp. before entering the educational world. He has been at Westside since 1998. In addition to teaching Algebra, he teaches Physics and coaches golf.

Mark Porter
Math
Mr. Porter has been teaching for over 25 years, with over 20 of those years at Westside. He received an undergraduate degree from Whitworth College and a Masters of Education from George Fox University.

Wendy Carlson
Math
Mrs. Carlson graduated from Southern Oregon University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Education and a minor in Physics. She has also completed 45+ hours of post-graduate credits. Her work experience includes teaching in the public schools for six years and a private school for two years, tutoring, substitute teaching, and opening and running a Kumon Math Center. She also assists her husband, Ted, in coaching girls tennis.
