Will Fox

Choral Director

Mr. Fox has a Master of Divinity degree from Abilene Christian University and currently serves as Worship Minister at Tigard Christian Church. He has extensive experience and training in choral music and voice. Will's broad knowledge, immediate working rapport with teenagers, and his passion for using music as a vehicle to further students' relationship with the Lord are a perfect fit for Westside.

Chelsea Johnson

Basic Art & Study Skills

Ms. Johnson is a Westside alum and received her Art Education degree from Northern Arizona University. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Education with a focus in Special Education at Lewis and Clark.

Michael Shelton

Drama

Mr. Shelton's credentials on stage and on film are impressive, and in 2005 he earned a Centurion Award of Excellence with the coveted distinction of being named Best Actor. He has a very diverse theatrical training, including instruction in Shakespearean and Greek Theatre techniques, stage combat (archery, swordplay, tumbling, clown work, etc.), improvisational theatre, and more. He has a B.A in Theater and Film and a M.A.T in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies and Theater from George Fox University.

Donna Symer

Visual Art

Mrs. Symer has been part of the Westside faculty since 1992; she is an honors graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. For sixteen years she worked as a freelance fashion illustrator and graphic designer for a number of prominent clients, including Jantzen.
